Good afternoon, in this file a PWM converter is connected to a grid. My question is whether it is necessary or not to perform a load flow before simulating this file.
If not could you please suggest other cases where a previous load flow is required to set the values of the blocks? Thanks in advance!

Hello Juan,
due to the power electronics involved and how they are modelled in this model, the load flow option would not work. Instead, this model was run to steady state, and those states were saved and then put in as initial conditions.
Here are some models that use load flow. Unfortunately, if your main goal is the power electronics simulation, this type of work flow won't be useful for you.
Regards,
Joel
