I was using MATLAB online and Simulink online to continue work being done on my MATLAB drive and realized I couldn't generate a mask for any subsystem I made. No matter how many or few blocks in subsystem, whether I changed the default values in the blocks, used variables or constants, I could not get a mask made. I opened some subsystems with masks in a different model and I could view the parameters but I couldn't actually get the mask editor to open. The create mask option from the modeling tab in Simulink stays gray. Is there a setting/parameter or something I should be looking for to allow mask generation? This is my first time using Simulink online to try and edit a mask so I'm not sure if this is a recent or old problem.

Hi Darius,
It is my understanding that you want to create mask for a subsystem in Simulink online and also want to edit the mask. In Simulink online, 'Mask parameters' option is present but 'Edit mask' option is absent.
The reason is that right now Simulink online doesn't support 'Mask editor' feature. Refer to Specification and Limitation of MATLAB online that list down the features not supported by MATLAB and Simulink Online.
