Cannot add digital I/O channels although device supports it...

1 view (last 30 days)
Hi,
I'm using a NiDAQ PCI 6722. This device supports digital I/O and I verified this using NI software.
However, when I start a DAQ session, I cannot add a digital channel. Only analog channels are allowed and the methods for adding digital channels are not even listed in the session object.
How do I get DAQ to recognize my hardware?
Thanks, Matt

Which MATLAB version are you using?
To confirm, you are using the session-based interface ?

I'm using Matlab 2012a on Windows 7 64bit, and hence the session-based intervace.

At least part of the functionality for the 6722 needs R2012b. https://www.mathworks.com/products/daq/supported/ni-daqmx.html
