how to perform wavelet decomposition useing mtlab and also reconstruction of a one dimenson signal without useing any inbuilt command??

please help with a matlab code to decompose a signal with a fixed wavelet upto N level and then again reconstruct it from the decomposed values the signal is one dimenson signal
