MeshDensity: How to exactly set the number of evaluation points of fplot?

18 views (last 30 days)
In the documentation, it is said under 'MeshDensity' option of 'fplot':
"Number of evaluation points, specified as a number. The default is 23. Because fplot uses adaptive evaluation, the actual number of evaluation points is greater."
This is not suitable for my work to not be able to have a fixed number of evaluation points from a plot to another.
So, is it possible to set an exact fixed number of evaluation points?

Likely not with fplot. Since fplot plots single-variable equations, a more appropriate option would likely be to use linspace (or logspace) to create the independent variable, and then plot your independent and dependent variables.
