Simulink Test: matlab functions

Is there something similar than "test Harness" but for matlab functions instead of models? Or in general, what is the best possibility to use "Simulink Test" for automatic testing of matlab functions.

Do you mean that you want to do automated testing for your functions in MATLAB?
MATLAB provides different testing frameworks to automatically test the functionality and performance of your MATLAB code.
