create log of Matlab run script

Hi, I want to parsing the results and run log ,

how do I create log file when I run script on Matlab?

Example, on shell, when I want the run log will created i'll do

run_script.pl >log

hi thanks for your answer, do you mean if my run is try.m on the prompt line : diary(try.m) or in the file i add in the beginning write diary() How to create meaning file name as in shell prompt, for example: > qube_game.scr > qube.log thanks again, Noam
