Assistance on project design titles suggestions for lighting/illumination engineering.

Hello to everyone. I am doing a project on illumination/lighting engineering and wanted to design a program with Matlab. My project is following the direction of analysis of the most efficient lighting or cost saving lighting available - thoery/research part. I want to make the project more appealing by doing a Matlab design. I would appreciate suggestions on possible designs using Matlab and any additional sites that, I could visit to enhance my knowledge, or get more information or ideas.
