Can not launch the matlab R2012a in Ubuntu 12.04

I have tried many ways to lunch my Matlab in Ubuntu but still not works.
For install, First, I located in /media/DATA/MATLAB/R2012a/bin; after I tried to call by type command in this location: ./matlab.
But it's still nothing happing. Do you know why?
