What is the difference between svd for Matlab 2012 and Matlab 2013?

I get an error message that svd did not converge but only when I use Matlab 2013, not when I use Matlab 2012. Any idea what is the difference in code between svd for Matlab 2012 and svd for Matlab 2013. Thanks!
