Wenjie Liu
A double-shading transposition model (DST) for simulating solar radiation distribution. Both topographic and canopy shadings are considered.
This is a MatLab code of a solar radiation model for simulating the temporal and spatial distribution of incident radiation above and under canopy for complex terrain. Both the topographic shading and vegetation canopy shading are considered. It requires solar radiation measurement at a nearby reference station which is free of shadings. .
Required inputs:
Observed radiation (unshaded shortwave radiation at a horizontal surface)
DEM and DSM
LAI (or NDVI)
