SoundSim's 2D Elastic Wave Simulator can be used to visualize and explore 2D elastic waves. This release contains SoundSim's 2D Elastic Simulation Core and two sample MATLAB scripts. The first simulates an impulse on the top of a steel block and the resulting elastic waves. The second simulates guided lamb waves in an aluminum plate. See the included PDF for more information about the example simulations.
This is an early release of SoundSim?s 2D elastic wave simulator. More features, error checking, and documentation will be coming very soon.
