The script provides an interactive tool for creating a multi-class synthetic dataset manually. You can choose the class label and the location of the points (x,y coordinates) by clicking on a 10-by-10 2D grid. The coordinates can be integers (snap-to-grid; the default option) or real-valued.
The script opens up a figure. Choose a class label from the buttons on the left. Click on the 2D axes space to add points to this class. You can remove a point by clicking on it again. When finished, press a key from the keyboard. The dataset is contained in variables “data” and “labels”, and is stored in file “Dataset.mat”.
