Uniform random and concentrated distribution test data in 2D for WSN power optimization

4 topologies, each including 10 scenarios with randomly placed MTs on a 20 m x 20 m 2D grid, having 10, 20, 30, …, 90 and 100 MTs. In each case the MTs ware placed based on a randomly generated angle and distance (radius) from the center base station. Base station located at center (0, 0) coordinates. MTs do not overlap with base station.
The random placement was done using the different methods (named T1, T2, T3 and T4):
  • T1: uniform angle, centralized radial (space_t1_*)
  • T2: uniform angle, uniform radial (space_t2_*)
  • T3: nonuniform angle, centralized radial (space_t3_*)
  • T4: nonuniform angle, uniform radial (space_t4_*)
These placements of the MTs exhibit uniform random and concentrated distributions in 2D.
File naming: space_<topology>_<number of MTs>.mat
Each file contains 2 row x N columns (x, y) coordinate of MT, where N is the number of MTs in the space.
