Approximated Dynamic Analysis using Ritz's Vectors

Applying Ritz basis vectors gives a sense of scoping the solution within the preset solution vectors, or so-called Ritz’s basis vectors.
For most building frame analyses, using only a limited number of modes which is significantly less than the total degrees of freedom can also lead to 90% of participating mass. Applying Ritz basis vectors gives a sense of scoping the solution within the preset solution vectors, or so-called Ritz’s basis vectors. Using Ritz basis vectors is found to be more efficient than using Eigenvalue analysis, which is based on unity basis in each variable space dimension. Similar to static condensation method, we can also transform the original system matrices into the reduced system, the so-called Ritz's system.
