XML_GalYUMA is designed to convert Galileo almanac database code into YUMA format. The program reads the almanac, resets old and converts new data, reads it from each satellite and writes it in YUMA format.
The program consists of several files:
• XML Date – a folder where untransformed data from the site is stored.
• YUMA_dat – the folder in which converted data from the site is written.
• initdata – function of initialization of arrays.
• Galxml – startup file.
• e_norm – mantissa normalization function.
In order to start working with the program, you need:
1. Go to the Galileo website: https://www.gsc-europa.eu/product-almanacs.
2. After going through the «GSC Products – Almanac», select the almanac that needs to be converted to the YUMA format.
3. Save the downloaded data to the XML Date folder:
(Dat = 'XML_Date/2024-02-23.xml').
4. Specify the folder where the YUMA file will be saved:
('YUMA_dat\2024-02-23.yum').
5. Start MatLab.Valeriy Konin, konin2v@gmail.com
