Just type 'fn_imvalue' in the Matlab command.
Then all existing and new graphs or image displays will be automatically inspected, and linked together when they have the same size. And then mouse pointing or dragging in one of the figures will result in picking values, panning, zooming in or out, in all the linked figures.
Demonstration video on http://www.weizmann.ac.il/home/deneux/toolboxMatlab/fn_imvalue.html.
'fn_imvalue image' to additionally force images to have square pixels
'fn_imvalue clean' to remove the crosshair and pixel value
'fn_imvalue end' to sop the automatic linking
'fn_imvalue chgx/chgy/chxy value' to set a common axis.
'fn_imvalue' IS PART OF THE 'brick' TOOLBOX, DOWNLOADING ONLY THE FUNCTION HERE WILL NOT WORK BECAUSE OF MISSING DEPENDENCIES, YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THE FULL TOOLBOX AT http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36209-brick-toolbox
Tried with both matlab 2010 and 2012 but did not work for me. No error messages but no link between the images. Also the "brick" was required for operation so you might want to mention this at the description.
Bug has been fixed in the new submission (June 2012).
You have a bug at line 41
Since initAxes() only provides 2 argins
Also, the help is far from beeing very,... helpful
Now, because of dependencies, 'fn_imvalue' cannot be downloaded alone, but needs the full 'brick' toolbox.
