This MATLAB application simulates High Purity Germanium (HPGe) and Sodium Iodide (NaI) detectors for gamma-ray spectroscopy. It models detector response, energy deposition, and interaction probabilities to simulate gamma-ray spectra. The code enables analysis of detector performance and optimization for various experimental conditions. akes use of the Matlab Twister number generator and Hybrid Monte-Carlo Approaches to increase modeling response time. Produced under the guidance of Dr. Stylianos Chatzidakis, Purdue University.
