The Engineener's Guide to the Loudspeaker's Modelling

How to measure and model nonlinear distortions in loudspeakers

You are now following this Submission

Usually loudspeakers have been modelled with Wiener-Hammerstain or Volterra kernel, assuming smooth polinomial type non-linearities, and that apporach did not work - not for the lack of trying.
The novel class of non-linear sigmoid feedback models is proposed. This class can adequately model the observed phenomena, and fit to the accurately measured data. The attached .pdf describes the nesessary steps to be taken.
The detailed loudspeaker driver's measurement of mid-range distortion document is included as the training set.
