Title: Sketch Nyquist (Polar) Plot for a given system and verify results using MATLAB
Learning Outcomes: After the successful completion of this experiment, students will be able to
- Sketch the Nyquist (Polar) plot for a given system and verify the results using MATLAB.
- Analyze the effect of the addition of poles and zeros on the polar plot based on changes in time domain specifications.
Aim: The aims of the experiment are to
- Sketch the polar plot for a given system using the analytical method and check the result using simulation.
- Obtain the step response for K=1 and note down the time domain specifications.
- Add a pole at a desired location and observe a change in the time domain specifications, and repeat the process for the addition of a zero by removing the pole.
