We have released the MATLAB implementation of FDBSFOA and dFDBSFOA, two Fitness–Distance-Balanced variants of the Starfish Optimization Algorithm. These algorithms improve candidate selection by integrating FDB and dynamic FDB mechanisms, aiming to enhance the exploration–exploitation balance in global optimization problems.
