projection method (Galerkin method) with simple basis

Approximation of a function with FEM.

Approximation of a function over the global domain is improved if the domain is partitioned into elemental domains.That is effected in this fullfem subroutine. The lines 12-20 can be changed to the need of the user :: [the function, basis, range, number of elements]. approximation by projection method (Galerkin method) is implemented to suit the FEM.

Matlab :: fullfem ==> gives the result and graph.
