Super Sonic Nozzle for a Car
This simulation aims to enable the user to design a supersonic nozzle attached to a car and evaluate its expected performance using graphical outputs and usful plots.
The analysis takes into account various external effects acting on the car.
the simulation considers the following assumptions:
- Ideal gas behavior.
- Isentropic compressble Flow.
- 3-D axisymmetric nozzle geometry.
- No combustion process the working fluid is compressed gas only!.
- External forces acting on the car (such as Drag and Friction).
Performance metrics for the different throat diameters including:
- velocity.
- Time to cover a certain distance.
- Nozzle force and friction contributions.
