Super Sonic Nozzle for a Car
This simulation aims to enable the user to design a supersonic nozzle attached to a car and evaluate its expected performance using graphical outputs and usful plots.
The analysis takes into account various external effects acting on the car.
the simulation considers the following assumptions:
  • Ideal gas behavior.
  • Isentropic compressble Flow.
  • 3-D axisymmetric nozzle geometry.
  • No combustion process the working fluid is compressed gas only!.
  • External forces acting on the car (such as Drag and Friction).
Performance metrics for the different throat diameters including:
  • velocity.
  • Time to cover a certain distance.
  • Nozzle force and friction contributions.
