This project aims to demonstrate speed control of a
DC series motor. It involves the use of armature voltage control,
to control the speed of the motor. The speed of the motor is
controlled for a typical speed profile of a washing machine. The
PID controller of the motor is optimized for a good response.
SIMULINK® is used for simulation.
