The attached file presents a simulation of a direct-operated hydraulic relief valve with built-in damper. The study of the valve included the following:
• Construction and operation of the valve
• Mathematical modeling
• Computer simulation using Simulink
• A discussion of the static and dynamic characteristics of the valve, based on the simulation results.
The theoretical analysis is presented in the following book, pages 198 to 205:
