This file uses another function I found on the exchange called HermitePoly, to generate the complex amplitude of any linear combination of Hermite Gaussian Beams. The math is based off of Section 3.3 of Fundamentals of Photonics, by Saleh and Teich. NOTE: you need the HermitePoly function for the code to execute! The code is reasonably well commented, so you should be able to adjust it to fit your needs. Currently it only generates a linear combination of HG beams of orders between 0-3 in both the x and y parameters, and the plots the intensity of the linear combination.
