Myriapole

This program computes generalized polarization tensors (GPT's).

This Matlab GUI allows the user to compute the GPT of disks, ellipses, and arbitrary imported shapes. The approximating algorithm that does this computation is based off a method developed by Capdeboscq et al. between 2006 and 2011. For more information concerning the methods used, refer to the paper entitled "NUMERICAL COMPUTATION OF APPROXIMATE GENERALIZED
POLARIZATION TENSORS" by Capdeboscq, Karrman, and Nédélec. Before running the GUI, unzip all the files and then change the Matlab directory to the directory containing the GPTGUI.m and GPTFUI.fig files. Example images for GPT's of arbitrary shapes are included in the "Example Images" folder.
