tidy 'position'

where 'position' is one of bottom, top, left, or right, and defaults to bottom

arranges the command window, the editor window, and other specified windows neatly in the client area of the desktop, with no space wasted and everything visible. 'position' allows you to choose whether the command window occupies the bottom half, left half, etc. of the screen. script is customisable to add windows you use along with MATLAB.

This was tested under MATLAB 5 and Windows 95/98/2000/NT

Works probably only on Windows OS and not on Mac-based for example. What changes would you suggest to make it compatible with all OS?

This is utility is grain of gold. Works perfectly under WinNT/MatlabR11. It is not restricted to moving Matlab windows only. Modify tidy.m slightly and it positions all your windows exactly where you want them. Great if you working several programs simultaneously. Thanks.
