It is a Half wave controlled rectifier circuit.
It includes the forward voltage plot for a thyristor and also the input and output voltages for a thyristor are shown so as to give a better understanding of working of a thyristor.
Also an understanding of how to trigger a thyristor is provided in this model, helpful for beginners.
