The VINPFN application performs transient simulations of voltage-fed Type A, B, and C pulse-forming networks (PFNs) connected to resistive or inductive loads. The application allows for free variation of network parameters and includes some simple optimization routines. The details of the VINPFN scripts are described in 'Design of A, B, and C Pulse Forming Networks' by J. Clementson, K. Rahbarnia, O. Grulke, and T. Klinger, submitted to IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics.
