This package provides functions to assess problems involving the transmission of (un)polarized light through polarizing elements such as polarizers, retarders, attenuators, waveplates etc. It is based on the calculus developed by H. Mueller and G.G. Stokes for partially polarized light and by R.C. Jones for fully polarized light. See mueller_stokes_example.m and jones_example.m for some demo code.
