Using Model-Predicite Control - Presentation and Recording - Hebrew
MPC is a control method that was intented for use in the '80s. However, it needs a large compute capability, and therefor in the 80s was limited for slow processes, like Chemical and industrial plants.
Nowdays, when a single MCU or DSP can run several MPC controllers, you can reach high sampling frequencies, and use this method for Robotics, White Goods and of course industrial automation.
The file here is a presentation I've compiled, in hebrew, that talks about what is MPC, how and when to use it, and a few examples for use.
