Vicon Tracker S Function for Simulink and Matlab

Vicon Tracker S Function and Simulink Model Samples

You are now following this Submission

Tracker 3.0 has added some functionality to make using Simulink available to users in environments where TCP/IP is not supported, for example some embedded platforms.
Vicon customers using products that support the DSSDK can use the DSSDK from within a SImulink block to access streamed data. The sample files illustrate a simple mechanism by which both UDP Stream and DataStream SDK can be accessed from a Simulink model.

The new functionality available only in Tracker 3.0 and newer is the addition of a UDP stream containing Tracker object translation/rotation data. The UDP stream contains only a very small subset of the data available via the DSSDK.

All of the examples consist of an s-function along with a Simulink model showing a block using the custom s-function in a simulation.

Single object and multiple object examples on the same port are provided using the DSSDK as well as the UDP stream, the only difference in those examples is the method of data access. There is an additional example for the UDP stream illustrating the object-per-port functionality.
