This toolbox allows you to design complex optical configurations in a 3D global coordinate system.
The toolbox calculates all of the possible beam paths including ghost beams. For every beam path it can generate a sequential optical configuration in OpticStudio (Zemax).
Once the configuration has been made there is some basic analysis that can be done such as Physical Optics Propagation (POP) and Single Ray Tracing. Using such analysis some simple alignment loops can be added to position and tilt the optics in the configuration.
This toolbox was developed to simulate different beam paths in Interferometric gravitational wave detectors.
