This speech processing exercise designs and automatic gain control (AGC) system for speech.
This MATLAB exercises designs an automatic gain control (AGC) system for speech and audio companding (compression and expansion) which operates at either an instantaneous or syllabic rate, and which uses either Finite Impulse Response (FIR) or Infinite Impulse Response (IIR) filters. The file '5.7 Waveform companding.pdf' provides a User's Guide for this exercise.
