This MATLAB exercise compares and contrasts the effects of using either of two different windows (Hamming and Rectangular), with two different frame durations (40 msec for NB-Narrowband, and 10 msec for WB-Wideband) on the computation of the short time Fourier transform (STFT) of a user-selected frame of speech. The file '3.6 Narrow Band Wide Band.pdf' provides a User's Guide for this exercise.
