The shunt converter controls the AC and DC voltage while the Series converter controls the active power (P) and reactive power (Q). Both converters use current controllers.
- The active power set point is changed at 1.3 seconds
-The reactive power set point is changed at 0.9 seconds
The model uses the three level NPC converters for the UPFC.
