This project was prepared at DTU Compute in fulfillment of the requirements for an B.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering and it was written in collaboration with the Psychiatric Center Glostrup (CNSR) at Rigshospitalet, Copenhagen, Denmark.
The project proceeded over a course of five months from primo February 2017 to ultimo June 2017.
The project deals with the extraction of sound from recorded interviews of patients with schizophrenia. This sound is then treated and features that can be used as biological markers are extracted to support further research in this area. The project evaluates the implementation of the Matlab toolbox Audio Analysis by T. Giannakopoulos et. al.(2014) for this purpose.
