Tree Physiology Optimization (TPO) algorithm for Stochastic test function optimization
The code demonstrate TPO algorithm on finding optimal solution for unconstrained test function (Shekel foxholes and Michalewicz function). Other test function can be inserted in the code. TPO algorithm main idea is from the root-shoot relationship (Thornley model). The plant-shoots as search agents consists of i leaves in j branches, which may ensure a diversify the search. Each shoot propagated towards light (objective function) with the help of nutrient (gained from roots elongation), and at the same time, the shoot produce carbon (as fitness value) and supplied to the roots counterpart for the root to elongate. The root system consumed carbon value and elongate in search for nutrient. The roots elongation with nutrient is defined as an amplification for the shoot's growth.
