This demo code shows an efficient 2D semi-numeric method for the calculation of interdigitated electrode capacitances burried in a multilayer structure for touch sensor applications. An even/odd analysis is performed yielding the capacitances and the potential and charge distributions. Furthermore, material losses can be included and frequency responses can be determined. The layer composition can be modified by numerical stacking of simple Green's functions in the wavenumber domain.
Approximations: 2D fingers are infinitely long; fingers are infinitely periodic; infinite wavenumber series is trunctated; amount of trialfunctions is truncated.
