In this folder I included the MATLAB functions I used to simulate the Free-Radical Polymerization of MMA for my Applied Physical Chemistry project.
They are based on a simple model and can be used to simulate a wide range of Free-Radical Polymerization reactions in an isothermal Batch reactor. The model does not account for chain transfer to chain transfer agent or to dead polymer chains though.
The core functions of the toolbox are: Kp.m; Kt.m; Mu.m; ODEpp.m; Parameters.m;
There’s also a script that serves as an example to show how to use these functions: example.m;
README.pdf reports the equations of the model and the data sheet related to example.m;
