LOAD FLOW STUDY USING GAUSS-SEIDEL METHOD
This program takes linedata(in p.u.) & busdata(in p.u.), in already defined format, for different Power System network(s) (e.g.: IEEE standard system(s) as 6-Bus etc.) as input and calculate the |V| in p.u. (bus-voltage magnitude) & Delta in degree(bus-voltage angle) for the PQ-bus(s) and Delta in degree & Q-injected in p.u. for the PV-bus(s). Provision for adding the shunt branch(s) (e.g.: Capacitor bank) in the busdata has been incorporated and provision of off-nominal tap-ratio for voltage-magnitude regulation has also been assimilated in the linedata. The active(Pij in p.u.) as well as reactive(Qij in p.u.) power flow(s) through the individual transmission line(s) have been calculated. Bus-power injection(s) (active as well as reactive) in p.u. have been calculated. At last, the losses (active as well as reactive) in p.u. through the individual transmission line(s) have been calculated and displayed accordingly.
