Power Spectral Density using PWELCH vs PSD created by FFT

A sample wind speed spectrum is generated using pwelch function and then compared to the spectrum created using FFT.

A sample wind speed spectrum is generated using pwelch function and then compared to the spectrum created using squared fourier transform of the signal and without any windowing. The variance and area under the spectrum are compared for additional verification.
