Monopoly Monte Carlo Simulation

A Monte Carlo simulation with live plot to determine the respective probabilities to land on the 40 fields of the Monopoly board.

You are now following this Submission

This Matlab function simulates the classic board game Monopoly. In a live bar plot, the previous probabilities for each individual field are displayed. The programming code takes into account all the rules of the original game, so all special cards as well as special rules such as the triple dice double. When the live plot is closed, the function returns an array of field probabilities and the number of moves. The code is based on the assumption that you always use a opportunity to get out of jail for free.
