Rigbox is a high-performance, open-source software toolkit developed in an object-oriented programming paradigm to facilitate a modular approach to designing behavioral neuroscience experiments. Rigbox is run in MATLAB, and underlying C and Java boost performance. Rigbox requires two machines, one for stimulus presentation ('the stimulus server') and another for controlling and monitoring the experiment ('the master computer').
Created by Chris Burgess. Developed and maintained by Miles Wells, Jai Bhagat and the Cortex Lab at UCL.
