Enthalpy Concentration Diagram for H2SO4-Water

Solves material and energy balances for preparation of sulfuric acid solutions

You are now following this Submission

This app computes the heat evolved and temperature history during the preparation of mixtures of sulfuric acid and water. Case A covers the preparation of a set concentration of acid from two known solution concentrations. Case B covers the mixing of two known weights and concentrations of solution.

The output includes all enthalpies, concentrations, weights and temperatures of all solutions. If boiling occurs during the operation the amount of steam prooduced and the concentration and temperature limits of the boiling are shown in the output. The process is graphed at the panel tab Enthalpy-Concentration Plot, and the temperature history of the operation is also plotted at the panel tab for Temperature History.
