NUM2HPF transforms a numeric array to hpf (high precision floating point format at known precision without errors.

The HPF class was writen by John D'Errico, is a high precision floating point arithmetic, a new class written in MATLAB can be downloaded from: from https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/36534-hpf-a-big-decimal-class

Comparison example:
A=rand(4,1);
A1=hpf(A)
A2=num2hpf(A,15)
