Toss a Coin, Flip a Dice or Draw a Card with Matlab

Tossing coins, flipping dice or dealing cards for simulation or game purposes.

The present submission contains a set of Matlab functions that provide generation of outcomes from the following processes: tossing of one or more coin(s); flipping of one or more N-sided dice; dealing of one or more cards from one or more card decks. The functions could be used for simulation or game purposes (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations or Backgammon game).

A few examples are given to clarify the usage of the functions. For convenience, the input and output arguments are given in the beginning of each function.
