Measuring the execution time of specific Simulink blocksets may be difficult to achieve, especially in Rapid Accelerator mode to understand the execution time on the specific simulation target.

In recent MATLAB versions, tic toc supports Code Generation. This means they can be used to time not just codes but also Simulink block. Without using Simulink Desktop Real-Time, or Simulink Real-Time, there is none (as I was searching for my research project) explicit method to measure execution time. This demo project provides a simple way to do so - one simply needs to open their Simulink model in a newer MATLAB version (I used MATLAB R2019b).
