This code solves the Euler equations numerically to compute the supersonic flow across a compression corner. The associated oblique shock is captured by the numerical solution and is compared against the analytical solution provided by the oblique shock relations.
The numerical technique employed is very basic and follows the methodology described in Chapter 7 of the book "Computational fluid dynamics: the basics with applications" (1995) from J.D.Anderson.
This is a good academic test case for anyone interested in learning CFD and compressible flow.
